The producer enters the segment with an investment in plant-based and human-grade food company People for Pets.
People for Pets, built by a team of former Blackmores and P&G executives, achieved an “impressive growth” since it was launched in 2021 by setting a new standard for dog supplements.
The company recently launched the so-called Nectar of the Dogs, the first range of Australian-made, plant-based, medicinal water treats.
“We are excited to partner with People for Pets and look forward to expanding into the pet supplement space,” said Real Pet Food Company (RPFC) CEO David Grant.
Grant added that this partnership “fits squarely” within the company’s strategic objectives and its future growth ambitions in Australia and key global markets.
